IN THE STUDIO
For landscape artists, 'in the studio' can be along a riverbank, beside a lake,
overlooking a valley, or in a room set up with supplies spread out for a full day of painting.
Regardless of where the studio is located, in it you will find the tools of the trade: paints, brushes, canvases, easels, and most importantly, a love and appreciation of the scenes and subjects that are being captured.
Come on in!

What is 'plein air'
painting?
The act of painting on location, outdoors, and in direct contact with nature to capture the immediate, changing qualities of light, atmosphere, and color.
Derived from the French expression for "in the open air."
