McConnells Mill Bridge
McConnells Mill covered bridge is located in western PA. It was constructed over Slippery Rock Creek for farmers to get their harvests to the adjacent gristmill. The mill dam is shown in the background. Both the bridge and gristmill were built in the 1800s.
The bridge is still in use today and the gristmill is open fo tourists by the State Park system.
