Winter's Embrace

This painting is a plein air work representing the winter farmland landscape in southcentral PA. The overcast skies, flat light and cold weather made this especially challenging. It was completed during the Southern Allegheny Museum of Art (www.sama-art.org) 2025 winter paint out and wet sale in Ligonier, PA.
